How To Uninstall libcppdb-mysql0 on jessie

To uninstall libcppdb-mysql0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcppdb-mysql0

SQL Connectivity Library (MySQL backend) Debian 8.0 libs 0.3.1+dfsg-1

sudo apt-get remove libcppdb-mysql0

Which will remove just the libcppdb-mysql0 package itself.

Uninstall libcppdb-mysql0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcppdb-mysql0

This will remove the libcppdb-mysql0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcppdb-mysql0 then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcppdb-mysql0  

Or similarly, like this libcppdb-mysql0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcppdb-mysql0
