How To Uninstall libfstrcmp0 on jessie

To uninstall libfstrcmp0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libfstrcmp0

fuzzy string compare library - runtime library Debian 8.0 libs 0.7.D001-1.1

sudo apt-get remove libfstrcmp0

Which will remove just the libfstrcmp0 package itself.

Uninstall libfstrcmp0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfstrcmp0

This will remove the libfstrcmp0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libfstrcmp0 then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libfstrcmp0  

Or similarly, like this libfstrcmp0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfstrcmp0
