How To Uninstall libghc-bitarray-dev on jessie

To uninstall libghc-bitarray-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libghc-bitarray-dev

Mutable and immutable bit arrays. Debian 8.0 haskell 0.0.1-4

sudo apt-get remove libghc-bitarray-dev

Which will remove just the libghc-bitarray-dev package itself.

Uninstall libghc-bitarray-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libghc-bitarray-dev

This will remove the libghc-bitarray-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libghc-bitarray-dev then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libghc-bitarray-dev  

Or similarly, like this libghc-bitarray-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libghc-bitarray-dev
