How To Uninstall libghc-byteorder-doc on jessie

To uninstall libghc-byteorder-doc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libghc-byteorder-doc

exposes the native endianness or byte ordering of the system; documentation Debian 8.0 doc 1.0.4-1

sudo apt-get remove libghc-byteorder-doc

Which will remove just the libghc-byteorder-doc package itself.

Uninstall libghc-byteorder-doc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libghc-byteorder-doc

This will remove the libghc-byteorder-doc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libghc-byteorder-doc then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libghc-byteorder-doc  

Or similarly, like this libghc-byteorder-doc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libghc-byteorder-doc
