How To Uninstall makebootfat on jessie

To uninstall makebootfat just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just makebootfat

Utility to create a bootable FAT filesystem Debian 8.0 utils 1.4-5

sudo apt-get remove makebootfat

Which will remove just the makebootfat package itself.

Uninstall makebootfat and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove makebootfat

This will remove the makebootfat package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for makebootfat then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge makebootfat  

Or similarly, like this makebootfat

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove makebootfat
