How To Uninstall maki on jessie

To uninstall maki just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just maki

D-Bus-based IRC suite (daemon) Debian 8.0 net 1.4.0+dfsg-1+b2

sudo apt-get remove maki

Which will remove just the maki package itself.

Uninstall maki and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove maki

This will remove the maki package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for maki then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge maki  

Or similarly, like this maki

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove maki
