How To Uninstall netanim On Debian 8
To uninstall netanim just follow these instructions.
Are you having problems? You can always add netanimagain by following the instructions at this link.
Uninstall just netanim
http://installion.co.uk/debian/jessie/main/n/netanim/uninstall/index.htmlnetwork animator based on Qt4 working with ns-3Debian 8.0net3.100-1sudo apt-get remove netanim
This will remove just the netanim package itself.
Uninstall netanim and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove netanim
This will remove the netanim package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for netanim then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge netanim
Or similarly, like this netanim
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove netanim
