How To Uninstall netpipe-lam On Debian 8

To uninstall netpipe-lam just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just netpipe-lam

Network performance tool using LAM MPIDebian 8.0net3.7.2-7+b2
sudo apt-get remove netpipe-lam

This will remove just the netpipe-lam package itself.

Uninstall netpipe-lam and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove netpipe-lam

This will remove the netpipe-lam package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for netpipe-lam then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge netpipe-lam

Or similarly, like this netpipe-lam

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove netpipe-lam
