How To Uninstall sanlock On Debian 8

To uninstall sanlock just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just sanlock

shared storage lock managerDebian 8.0libs2.2-2
sudo apt-get remove sanlock

This will remove just the sanlock package itself.

Uninstall sanlock and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove sanlock

This will remove the sanlock package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for sanlock then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge sanlock

Or similarly, like this sanlock

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove sanlock
