How To Uninstall udo On Debian 8

To uninstall udo just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just udo

universal document – text processing utilityDebian 8.0text6.4.1-1
sudo apt-get remove udo

This will remove just the udo package itself.

Uninstall udo and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove udo

This will remove the udo package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for udo then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge udo

Or similarly, like this udo

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove udo
