How To Uninstall kcemu-common On Debian 9

To uninstall kcemu-common just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just kcemu-common

KC 85/4 emulator – common filesDebian 9.0contrib/otherosfs0.5.1+git20141014+dfsg-2
sudo apt-get remove kcemu-common

This will remove just the kcemu-common package itself.

Uninstall kcemu-common and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove kcemu-common

This will remove the kcemu-common package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for kcemu-common then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge kcemu-common

Or similarly, like this kcemu-common

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove kcemu-common
