How To Uninstall afterstep-data On Debian 9

To uninstall afterstep-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just afterstep-data

data files for AfterStep window managerDebian 9.0x112.2.12-9
sudo apt-get remove afterstep-data

This will remove just the afterstep-data package itself.

Uninstall afterstep-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove afterstep-data

This will remove the afterstep-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for afterstep-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge afterstep-data

Or similarly, like this afterstep-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove afterstep-data
