How To Uninstall afuse On Debian 9

To uninstall afuse just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just afuse

automounting file system implemented in user-space using FUSEDebian 9.0utils0.4.1-1+b3
sudo apt-get remove afuse

This will remove just the afuse package itself.

Uninstall afuse and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove afuse

This will remove the afuse package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for afuse then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge afuse

Or similarly, like this afuse

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove afuse
