How To Uninstall apache2-bin on stretch

To uninstall apache2-bin just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apache2-bin

Apache HTTP Server (modules and other binary files) Debian 9.0 httpd 2.4.25-3

sudo apt-get remove apache2-bin

Which will remove just the apache2-bin package itself.

Uninstall apache2-bin and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apache2-bin

This will remove the apache2-bin package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apache2-bin then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apache2-bin  

Or similarly, like this apache2-bin

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apache2-bin
