How To Uninstall asterisk-mysql on stretch

To uninstall asterisk-mysql just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just asterisk-mysql

MySQL database protocol support for the Asterisk PBX Debian 9.0 comm 1:13.14.1~dfsg-2

sudo apt-get remove asterisk-mysql

Which will remove just the asterisk-mysql package itself.

Uninstall asterisk-mysql and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove asterisk-mysql

This will remove the asterisk-mysql package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for asterisk-mysql then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge asterisk-mysql  

Or similarly, like this asterisk-mysql

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove asterisk-mysql
