How To Uninstall baloo-kf5 On Debian 9
To uninstall baloo-kf5 just follow these instructions.
Are you having problems? You can always add baloo-kf5again by following the instructions at this link.
Uninstall just baloo-kf5
http://installion.co.uk/debian/stretch/main/b/baloo-kf5/uninstall/index.htmlframework for searching and managing metadataDebian 9.0utils5.28.0-2sudo apt-get remove baloo-kf5
This will remove just the baloo-kf5 package itself.
Uninstall baloo-kf5 and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove baloo-kf5
This will remove the baloo-kf5 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for baloo-kf5 then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge baloo-kf5
Or similarly, like this baloo-kf5
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove baloo-kf5
