How To Uninstall bareos-bat On Debian 9

To uninstall bareos-bat just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bareos-bat

Backup Archiving Recovery Open Sourced – Bareos Admin Tool (BAT)Debian 9.0admin16.2.4-3
sudo apt-get remove bareos-bat

This will remove just the bareos-bat package itself.

Uninstall bareos-bat and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bareos-bat

This will remove the bareos-bat package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bareos-bat then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bareos-bat

Or similarly, like this bareos-bat

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bareos-bat
