How To Uninstall bareos-database-postgresql On Debian 9

To uninstall bareos-database-postgresql just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bareos-database-postgresql

Backup Archiving Recovery Open Sourced – PostgreSQL backendDebian 9.0admin16.2.4-3
sudo apt-get remove bareos-database-postgresql

This will remove just the bareos-database-postgresql package itself.

Uninstall bareos-database-postgresql and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bareos-database-postgresql

This will remove the bareos-database-postgresql package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bareos-database-postgresql then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bareos-database-postgresql

Or similarly, like this bareos-database-postgresql

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bareos-database-postgresql
