How To Uninstall bbdb3 On Debian 9
To uninstall bbdb3 just follow these instructions.
Are you having problems? You can always add bbdb3again by following the instructions at this link.
Uninstall just bbdb3
http://installion.co.uk/debian/stretch/main/b/bbdb3/uninstall/index.htmlReboot of the BBDB Insidious Big Brother Database for EmacsDebian 9.0mail3.1.2-7sudo apt-get remove bbdb3
This will remove just the bbdb3 package itself.
Uninstall bbdb3 and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bbdb3
This will remove the bbdb3 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for bbdb3 then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bbdb3
Or similarly, like this bbdb3
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bbdb3
