How To Uninstall bcfg2 On Debian 9

To uninstall bcfg2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bcfg2

Configuration management clientDebian 9.0admin1.4.0~pre2+git141-g6d40dace6358-1
sudo apt-get remove bcfg2

This will remove just the bcfg2 package itself.

Uninstall bcfg2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bcfg2

This will remove the bcfg2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bcfg2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bcfg2

Or similarly, like this bcfg2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bcfg2
