How To Uninstall bioperl-run on stretch

To uninstall bioperl-run just follow these instructions.

Are you having problems? You can always remove bioperl-run again by following the instructions at this link.

/debian/stretch/main///install/index.html BioPerl wrappers Debian 9.0 science 1.7.1-3

sudo apt-get remove bioperl-run

Which will remove just the bioperl-run package itself.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bioperl-run

This will remove the bioperl-run package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bioperl-run then this will work.

Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.

sudo apt-get purge bioperl-run

Or similarly, like this bioperl-run

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bioperl-run
