How To Uninstall bootpc on stretch

To uninstall bootpc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bootpc

bootp client Debian 9.0 net 0.64-7+b2

sudo apt-get remove bootpc

Which will remove just the bootpc package itself.

Uninstall bootpc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bootpc

This will remove the bootpc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bootpc then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bootpc  

Or similarly, like this bootpc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bootpc
