How To Uninstall bsfilter on stretch

To uninstall bsfilter just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bsfilter

Bayesian spam filter Debian 9.0 mail 1:1.0.19-2

sudo apt-get remove bsfilter

Which will remove just the bsfilter package itself.

Uninstall bsfilter and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bsfilter

This will remove the bsfilter package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bsfilter then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bsfilter  

Or similarly, like this bsfilter

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bsfilter
