How To Uninstall dhcpdump on stretch

To uninstall dhcpdump just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dhcpdump

Parse DHCP packets from tcpdump Debian 9.0 admin 1.8-2.2

sudo apt-get remove dhcpdump

Which will remove just the dhcpdump package itself.

Uninstall dhcpdump and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dhcpdump

This will remove the dhcpdump package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dhcpdump then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dhcpdump  

Or similarly, like this dhcpdump

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dhcpdump
