How To Uninstall ecatools on stretch

To uninstall ecatools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ecatools

/debian/stretch/main///install/index.html multitrack-capable audio recorder and effect processor (tools) Debian 9.0 sound 2.9.1-7+b2

sudo apt-get remove ecatools

Which will remove just the ecatools package itself.

Uninstall ecatools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ecatools

This will remove the ecatools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ecatools then this will work.

sudo apt-get purge ecatools  

Or similarly, like this ecatools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ecatools
