How To Uninstall echolot on stretch

To uninstall echolot just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just echolot

Pinger for anonymous remailers such as Mixmaster Debian 9.0 mail 2.1.9-1.1

sudo apt-get remove echolot

Which will remove just the echolot package itself.

Uninstall echolot and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove echolot

This will remove the echolot package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for echolot then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge echolot  

Or similarly, like this echolot

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove echolot
