How To Uninstall eclipse-anyedit on stretch

To uninstall eclipse-anyedit just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just eclipse-anyedit

Adds additional tools to the context menu of text-based Eclipse editors Debian 9.0 devel 2.4.4-1

sudo apt-get remove eclipse-anyedit

Which will remove just the eclipse-anyedit package itself.

Uninstall eclipse-anyedit and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove eclipse-anyedit

This will remove the eclipse-anyedit package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for eclipse-anyedit then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge eclipse-anyedit  

Or similarly, like this eclipse-anyedit

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove eclipse-anyedit
