How To Uninstall efax on stretch
To uninstall efax just follow these instructions.
Are you having problems? You can always remove efax again by following the instructions at this link.
Uninstall just efax
/debian/stretch/main///install/index.html programs to send and receive fax messages Debian 9.0 comm 1:0.9a-19.1
sudo apt-get remove efax
Which will remove just the efax package itself.
Uninstall efax and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove efax
This will remove the efax package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for efax then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge efax
Or similarly, like this efax
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove efax
