How To Uninstall elpa-diminish on stretch
To uninstall elpa-diminish just follow these instructions.
Are you having problems? You can always remove elpa-diminish again by following the instructions at this link.
Uninstall just elpa-diminish
/debian/stretch/main///install/index.html hiding or abbreviation of the mode line displays of minor-modes Debian 9.0 lisp 0.45-1
sudo apt-get remove elpa-diminish
Which will remove just the elpa-diminish package itself.
Uninstall elpa-diminish and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elpa-diminish
This will remove the elpa-diminish package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for elpa-diminish then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elpa-diminish
Or similarly, like this elpa-diminish
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elpa-diminish
