How To Uninstall elpa-shut-up on stretch

To uninstall elpa-shut-up just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elpa-shut-up

Emacs Lisp macros to quieten Emacs Debian 9.0 lisp 0.3.2-1

sudo apt-get remove elpa-shut-up

Which will remove just the elpa-shut-up package itself.

Uninstall elpa-shut-up and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elpa-shut-up

This will remove the elpa-shut-up package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elpa-shut-up then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elpa-shut-up  

Or similarly, like this elpa-shut-up

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elpa-shut-up
