How To Uninstall elpa-ztree on stretch

To uninstall elpa-ztree just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elpa-ztree

text mode directory tree Debian 9.0 lisp 1.0.5-1

sudo apt-get remove elpa-ztree

Which will remove just the elpa-ztree package itself.

Uninstall elpa-ztree and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elpa-ztree

This will remove the elpa-ztree package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elpa-ztree then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elpa-ztree  

Or similarly, like this elpa-ztree

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elpa-ztree
