How To Uninstall emacspeak-ss on stretch

To uninstall emacspeak-ss just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just emacspeak-ss

/debian/stretch/main///install/index.html Emacspeak speech servers for several synthesizers Debian 9.0 editors 1.12.1-6

sudo apt-get remove emacspeak-ss

Which will remove just the emacspeak-ss package itself.

Uninstall emacspeak-ss and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove emacspeak-ss

This will remove the emacspeak-ss package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for emacspeak-ss then this will work.

sudo apt-get purge emacspeak-ss
