How To Uninstall equalx on stretch
To uninstall equalx just follow these instructions.
Are you having problems? You can always remove equalx again by following the instructions at this link.
Uninstall just equalx
/debian/stretch/main///install/index.html graphical editor for LaTeX equations Debian 9.0 tex 0.7.1-4+b1
sudo apt-get remove equalx
Which will remove just the equalx package itself.
Uninstall equalx and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove equalx
This will remove the equalx package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for equalx then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge equalx
Or similarly, like this equalx
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove equalx
