How To Uninstall fbcat on stretch

To uninstall fbcat just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fbcat

framebuffer grabber Debian 9.0 graphics 0.3-1+b1

sudo apt-get remove fbcat

Which will remove just the fbcat package itself.

Uninstall fbcat and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fbcat

This will remove the fbcat package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fbcat then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fbcat  

Or similarly, like this fbcat

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fbcat
