How To Uninstall flare-data on stretch

To uninstall flare-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just flare-data

Meta package to deal with package name changes in Flare 0.19 Debian 9.0 games 0.19-1

sudo apt-get remove flare-data

Which will remove just the flare-data package itself.

Uninstall flare-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove flare-data

This will remove the flare-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for flare-data then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge flare-data  

Or similarly, like this flare-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove flare-data
