How To Uninstall flog on stretch

To uninstall flog just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just flog

dump STDIN to file and reopen on SIGHUP Debian 9.0 utils 1.8-3+b2

sudo apt-get remove flog

Which will remove just the flog package itself.

Uninstall flog and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove flog

This will remove the flog package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for flog then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge flog  

Or similarly, like this flog

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove flog
