How To Uninstall fonts-sahadeva on stretch

To uninstall fonts-sahadeva just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fonts-sahadeva

Free Unicode compliant Devanagari font Debian 9.0 fonts 1.0-4

sudo apt-get remove fonts-sahadeva

Which will remove just the fonts-sahadeva package itself.

Uninstall fonts-sahadeva and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fonts-sahadeva

This will remove the fonts-sahadeva package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fonts-sahadeva then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fonts-sahadeva  

Or similarly, like this fonts-sahadeva

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fonts-sahadeva
