How To Uninstall fort77 on stretch

To uninstall fort77 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fort77

Invoke f2c like a real compiler Debian 9.0 devel 1.15-11

sudo apt-get remove fort77

Which will remove just the fort77 package itself.

Uninstall fort77 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fort77

This will remove the fort77 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fort77 then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fort77  

Or similarly, like this fort77

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fort77
