How To Uninstall harvest-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall harvest-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just harvest-tools

sudo apt-get remove harvest-tools

This will remove just the harvest-tools package itself.

Uninstall harvest-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove harvest-tools

This will remove the harvest-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for harvest-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge harvest-tools

Or similarly, like this harvest-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove harvest-tools
