How To Uninstall manila-api on stretch

To uninstall manila-api just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just manila-api

OpenStack shared file system as a service - API server Debian 9.0 net 1:3.0.0-5

sudo apt-get remove manila-api

Which will remove just the manila-api package itself.

Uninstall manila-api and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove manila-api

This will remove the manila-api package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for manila-api then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge manila-api  

Or similarly, like this manila-api

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove manila-api
