How To Uninstall multimedia-players On Debian 9

To uninstall multimedia-players just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just multimedia-players

Packages which makes your multimedia tools completeDebian 9.0misc0.5
sudo apt-get remove multimedia-players

This will remove just the multimedia-players package itself.

Uninstall multimedia-players and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove multimedia-players

This will remove the multimedia-players package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for multimedia-players then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge multimedia-players

Or similarly, like this multimedia-players

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove multimedia-players
