How To Uninstall r-cran-glmnet on stretch

To uninstall r-cran-glmnet just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-cran-glmnet

Lasso and Elastic-Net Regularized Generalized Linear Models Debian 9.0 gnu-r 2.0-5-1

sudo apt-get remove r-cran-glmnet

Which will remove just the r-cran-glmnet package itself.

Uninstall r-cran-glmnet and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-cran-glmnet

This will remove the r-cran-glmnet package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-cran-glmnet then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-cran-glmnet  

Or similarly, like this r-cran-glmnet

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-cran-glmnet
