How To Uninstall r-cran-globals on stretch

To uninstall r-cran-globals just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-cran-globals

R package Debian 9.0 gnu-r 0.8.0-1

sudo apt-get remove r-cran-globals

Which will remove just the r-cran-globals package itself.

Uninstall r-cran-globals and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-cran-globals

This will remove the r-cran-globals package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-cran-globals then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-cran-globals  

Or similarly, like this r-cran-globals

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-cran-globals
