How To Uninstall r-cran-matrixcalc on stretch

To uninstall r-cran-matrixcalc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-cran-matrixcalc

GNU R functions for matrix calculations -- matrixcalc Debian 9.0 gnu-r 1.0.3-2

sudo apt-get remove r-cran-matrixcalc

Which will remove just the r-cran-matrixcalc package itself.

Uninstall r-cran-matrixcalc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-cran-matrixcalc

This will remove the r-cran-matrixcalc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-cran-matrixcalc then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-cran-matrixcalc  

Or similarly, like this r-cran-matrixcalc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-cran-matrixcalc
