How To Uninstall regina-normal on stretch

To uninstall regina-normal just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just regina-normal

mathematical software for low-dimensional topology Debian 9.0 math 5.1-1

sudo apt-get remove regina-normal

Which will remove just the regina-normal package itself.

Uninstall regina-normal and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove regina-normal

This will remove the regina-normal package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for regina-normal then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge regina-normal  

Or similarly, like this regina-normal

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove regina-normal
