How To Uninstall v4l2loopback-utils On Debian 9

To uninstall v4l2loopback-utils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just v4l2loopback-utils

Commandline utilities for the for the v4l2-loopback moduleDebian 9.0graphics0.10.0-1
sudo apt-get remove v4l2loopback-utils

This will remove just the v4l2loopback-utils package itself.

Uninstall v4l2loopback-utils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove v4l2loopback-utils

This will remove the v4l2loopback-utils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for v4l2loopback-utils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge v4l2loopback-utils

Or similarly, like this v4l2loopback-utils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove v4l2loopback-utils
