How To Uninstall vmdk-stream-converter On Debian 9

To uninstall vmdk-stream-converter just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just vmdk-stream-converter

raw disk images to stream-optimized VMDK files convert toolDebian 9.0misc0.2-1
sudo apt-get remove vmdk-stream-converter

This will remove just the vmdk-stream-converter package itself.

Uninstall vmdk-stream-converter and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove vmdk-stream-converter

This will remove the vmdk-stream-converter package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for vmdk-stream-converter then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge vmdk-stream-converter

Or similarly, like this vmdk-stream-converter

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove vmdk-stream-converter
