How To Uninstall vpnc-scripts On Debian 9

To uninstall vpnc-scripts just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just vpnc-scripts

Network configuration scripts for VPNC and OpenConnectDebian 9.0net0.1~git20160829-1
sudo apt-get remove vpnc-scripts

This will remove just the vpnc-scripts package itself.

Uninstall vpnc-scripts and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove vpnc-scripts

This will remove the vpnc-scripts package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for vpnc-scripts then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge vpnc-scripts

Or similarly, like this vpnc-scripts

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove vpnc-scripts
