How To Uninstall xcolors On Debian 9

To uninstall xcolors just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xcolors

display all X11 color names and colorsDebian 9.0x111.5a-8+b1
sudo apt-get remove xcolors

This will remove just the xcolors package itself.

Uninstall xcolors and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xcolors

This will remove the xcolors package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xcolors then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xcolors

Or similarly, like this xcolors

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xcolors
