How To Uninstall xfonts-cronyx-cp1251-75dpi on stretch

To uninstall xfonts-cronyx-cp1251-75dpi just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xfonts-cronyx-cp1251-75dpi

75 dpi CP1251 encoded Cyrillic fonts for X (Cronyx collection) Debian 9.0 fonts 2.3.8-8

sudo apt-get remove xfonts-cronyx-cp1251-75dpi

Which will remove just the xfonts-cronyx-cp1251-75dpi package itself.

Uninstall xfonts-cronyx-cp1251-75dpi and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xfonts-cronyx-cp1251-75dpi

This will remove the xfonts-cronyx-cp1251-75dpi package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xfonts-cronyx-cp1251-75dpi then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xfonts-cronyx-cp1251-75dpi  

Or similarly, like this xfonts-cronyx-cp1251-75dpi

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xfonts-cronyx-cp1251-75dpi
